Warranty Policy

At Passionspotcare, we are committed to providing high-quality products and customer satisfaction. All our products come with a 12-month warranty, which covers most product issues under normal use conditions. Below is a breakdown of our warranty coverage, exclusions, and conditions:

Warranty Coverage

All our products come with a first-year warranty as standard (some products have longer warranties, see the warranty tab on the product page for details) covering any product failures. This warranty ensures that if the product has a manufacturing defect or a fault that affects its functionality, we will repair or replace it, depending on the situation.

  • • Structural Frames: Includes frames of electric wheelchairs, manual wheelchairs, mobility scooters, lift recliners.
  • • Mechanical Parts: Non-electrical components such as levers, hinges, and manual mechanisms.
  • • Electrical Components: Motors, controllers, wired remotes, and charging systems.
  • • Batteries: Lithium or lead-acid batteries used in electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters.(6 month warranty)
  • • Note: Batteries are consumable items and may experience performance degradation over time. The warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

Extended Warranty Option

You can purchase extended warranty coverage for your PassionSpotCare product at the time of original purchase. This adds additional years to your base warranty and offers peace of mind for long-term use. Extended warranty coverage will follow the same terms as the original plan.

Warranty Exclusions on all products

Improper Use or Assembly

  • • Any damage caused by improper use, assembly, or handling of the product, as well as failure to follow the provided assembly instructions, is not covered under the warranty.

Carriage Costs

  • • If a product is sent to our repair center and is found not to be faulty, we reserve the right to charge the customer for the carriage costs both to and from our repair center.

Perishable Components

  • Certain components of mobility products naturally wear out over time due to normal use. These parts are considered perishable and are not covered under the warranty. Examples include, but are not limited to:
  • • Worn tyres
  • • Armrests
  • • Seat cushions and upholstery (due to prolonged use or pressure)
  • • Footrests and footplates (due to frequent adjustment or pressure)
  • • Brake pads (due to regular usage and braking)
  • • Joysticks or controllers (if affected by prolonged use, wear, or damage)

User-Caused Damage

  • • Any damage caused by the user, such as scratches, scuffs, or damage from exposure to liquids or water, is not covered under the warranty.

Batteries

  • • The maximum warranty period for mobility batteries is 1 year. However, this warranty is only valid if the batteries have been treated according to the instructions provided with your product. Typically, lithium batteries should be charged at least every 3 weeks, even if the product is not being used. Improper battery care, such as neglecting to charge or improper storage, will void the warranty.

Airport and Airline Incidents

  • • Any damage or loss occurring while the product is in the possession or control of airport authorities, airlines, baggage handlers, or during air travel is not covered by the warranty.

What happens if I need a warranty repair?

If you believe your product is faulty and covered under warranty, please follow these steps:

Contact our customer support team at info@passionspotcare.com to explain the issue. Provide your proof of purchase and any relevant details about the problem. We will respond to you within 2 working days.

Please include:

  • • Order number
    • Product name/model
    • Detailed description of the issue
    • Clear photos or videos
    • showing the issue.

Our team will assess your case and guide you through the next steps, including sending the product to our repair center if necessary. Repair or Replacement: If eligible, we will provide free replacement parts, repairs, or a product replacement.
